To visit Jerusalem Old City is definitely something you want to do when in Israel. History seems to permeate from the walls of the city. Otherwise, you can take a swim in the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea. Its waters are said to be very good for your health and its mud on the bottom seems to do wonders for the skin. The high salt concentration will make you float without any effort. Go and try it out!
4. Explore the great natural beauty
There are many landscapes you can admire in Israel and outdoor activities to take part in. For example, Timna Park is a site in a beautiful desert with many rock formation where you can hike or simply camp. If you want to see some diverse and breathtaking landscapes, then head to the Israel National Trail.
It is one big hiking path that passes through the whole country. It starts from Dan in the north, ending at Eilat. For a less intense hike, there is the beautiful Banias Nature Reserve that also has an impressive waterfall to admire.
